Father Alejandro Mamani serves as director general of the UAC-CP.
As director of the College, Father Alejandro is responsible for oversight of the College’s five academic areas, faculty development, curriculum management, budget, and international partnerships. He also is a member of the UAC-CP’s Board of Directors.
A native of San Pedro, Bolivia, (a community located 2 miles away from Carmen Pampa), Father Alejandro was educated by the Xaverian Brothers and Franciscan Missionary Sisters at the high school in Carmen Pampa. After completing his pastoral studies at the Diocesan Seminary in Sorata, Bolivia, Father Alejandro obtained a degree in systematic and moral theology from the University of Navarra in Spain.
A former UAC-CP theology professor, Father Alejandro has also served as a board member at the UAC-CP and at Caritas-Coroico, an international Catholic NGO.
