International Film Festival at Carmen Pampa
The College hosted the third edition of the international human-rights film festival ‘Bajo Nuestra Piel’ in Carmen Pampa the week of April 4-8th.
The project, which was started by Simon Bongers and Ricardo Dávalos in the Bolivian city of Oruro, is intended ‘to generate a debate and reflective space on human-rights topics through the artistic representation in the documentary, fiction and animation formats, of critical, socially comprised and quality cinema.’ Bajo Nuestra Piel, which now has an international selection of over 90 movies, including some Bolivian productions, is touring through Bolivia and providing free showings and facilitating conversations for viewers.
