The Veterinary Science Department offers a full range of courses to prepare students to work with different animals that exist throughout Bolivia. The Department’s community services focus on public health for animals and technical assistance for animal production and meat processing.
As part of the College’s hands-on model, the Department requires students to participate in learning modules: chicken production, hog production, meat production, and bee keeping.
In order to graduate from the five-year bachelor degree program, students must complete 43 required courses and 33 complementary courses. A final thesis project or business plan must be defended in order to graduate.
