The College officially started the new 2019 academic year with a special all-school mass today. The mass on Campus Leahy, celebrated by UAC-CP president Msgr. Juan Vargas, welcomed 735 young men and women who registered for classes and thesis work for the first semester of 2019.

Although the first day of classes was February 4, the academic year didn’t fully get started until the following week due to delays caused by a major landslide on a main highway in the Yungas region. Without alternative routes available, many students were unable to travel to Carmen Pampa until after the road was cleared and deemed safe for passage.
